Ryan Murphy, the visionary wizard behind iconic television shows like Pose and American Horror Story, has found an irresistibly cute actor to play Rock Hudson in his upcoming Netflix series Hollywood.
Hollywood has been described as “a love letter to the golden age of television” that will cover “several narratives from 1940’s Hollywood.” The Emmy winning producer has also revealed that it will explore what it was like to be a closeted actor at that time.
Actors that have signed on for this project include Jeremy Pope, Darren Criss, Dylan McDermott, Holland Taylor and Laura Harrier.

The 28-year-old shared his excitement about the news on Instagram on Saturday, September 28. “Incredibly honored to play Rock Hudson in Ryan Murphy’s @netflix series #Hollywood,” he wrote.
Love Ryan Murphy and casts and topics. Big fan of GLEE, AHS, THE POLITICIAN, VERSACE. HUGE FAN OF DARREN CRISS and JESSICA LANGE in particular. And all those handsome guys. At 78 I can still dream and drool. I survived SF and a 31 year relationship.
