It hasn't been the easiest of years so far for talk show host Ellen DeGeneres. The area of where she lives in California, Montecito, has been dealing with devastating mudslides that have brought deadly destruction to where she lives.
She also had to deal with the loss of her father Elliott, who passed away this week at the age of 92. Ellen discussed his passing in a very touching tribute to her late father on her talk show this past Thursday.
