If you happen to live in Las Vegas, or are visiting the area this Thursday, and are a Britney Spears fan, chances are you will be in a great mood as the pop superstar will be doing something super special for our community that day.
GLAAD announced this afternoon that the "Gimme More" singer will be making an appearance at a Spirit Day rally in Sin City. It's a place she's quite familiar with, given her Piece of Me tour existed there for several years.
It will take place at Toshiba Plaza starting at 6PM. Britney and GLAAD have a great relationship with one another, as she won their coveted Vanguard Award this year. Other celebs who will be attending include Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star Kyle Richards, Michelle Visage and Ross Matthews.
Britney and many other celebrities will be going purple on Thursday for LGBTQ youth in a united stand against bullying and show of support for LGBTQ young people. Each year, GLAAD organizes hundreds of celebrities, media outlets, brands, landmarks, sports leagues, tech leaders, influencers, faith groups, school districts, organizations, colleges and universities in what has become the most visible anti-LGBTQ bullying campaign and united show of support for LGBTQ youth. Purple symbolizes spirit on the rainbow flag.
Some other celebs participating include Stephen Colbert, Jimmy Kimmel, Laverne Cox, Sterling K. Brown, Bebe Rexha and Troye Sivan. You can learn more about Spirit Day here.
She also revealed during her most recent appearance on Ellen that she has a big announcement she'll be making the same day. New album? New tour? What is it!
