Models everywhere should probably send a thank-you card to Connor Storrie for choosing acting, because whenever this man steps in front of a camera, he appears determined to make the rest of the industry look bad.

Storrie is once again proving that his appeal isn’t limited to the hockey rink. The actor recently appeared in Yves Saint Laurent’s Fall campaign for Anthony Vaccarello’s latest collection, photographed by Talia Chetrit, and somehow managed to look like he has been strutting around fashion campaigns his entire life.

Not that we’re complaining.

Fully dressed and still causing trouble

The campaign gives Connor plenty of opportunity to show off the confidence and effortless charisma that have quickly become part of his appeal. The clothes are doing their job, but so is the man wearing them.

And then comes his signature pose: Storrie poses with his arms lifted behind his head, delivering the now-familiar stance that has become something of a signature. It’s confident without looking forced, relaxed without being remotely boring and, frankly, a little unfair to anyone attempting to concentrate on the clothing.

The result is less “actor tries modeling” and more “why hasn’t fashion been calling this man sooner?”

Storrie’s growing fashion presence comes as his acting career continues picking up speed and with Heated Rivalry Season 2 officially in production, Storrie has plenty on his plate already. But apparently, a hockey jersey wasn’t enough. His next big screen outing takes him somewhere considerably darker.

Welcome to the world of April X

In the psychological science-fiction thriller April X, the actor plays Bax, a black-market hustler searching for his missing twin sister, April, played by Lilly Krug.

Set in a grim futuristic metropolis with post-Soviet influences, the story sends Bax deep into a dangerous criminal underworld as he searches for answers. His investigation takes an increasingly disturbing turn as he encounters a conspiracy involving human cloning, recorded dreams and a fight for survival.

April X is scheduled for a U.S. theatrical release on September 18, 2026, with international releases beginning earlier in some territories.

Connor Storrie, professional chameleon

What makes Storrie particularly fun to watch is how easily he seems to switch identities. One minute he’s a hockey player. The next he’s a troubled character navigating a futuristic nightmare. Then he’s standing in front of a YSL camera looking like fashion’s newest obsession.

That versatility is becoming his secret weapon.

Connor isn’t simply building a career around one particular type of character or image. He’s showing that he can adapt, disappear into a role and then, when the cameras aren’t rolling on set, step right back into the spotlight as himself.

And if that happens to include a shirtless fashion campaign and that arms-behind-the-head pose?

Well, we certainly aren’t asking him to stop.
