If you thought The Traitors couldn’t get any more deliciously chaotic, the castle has apparently decided to prove us wrong. The Emmy-winning competition series is returning in 2027 with a fresh batch of celebrity contestants, and this time, the gays and their allies are bringing some serious reality-TV firepower. The only question now is: will they be loyal to each other?
Leading the queer contingent is none other than RuPaul’s Drag Race legend Bianca Del Rio. And if there’s one thing Bianca knows how to do, it’s deliver a perfectly timed read. Whether that skill translates into detecting a Traitor or becoming one herself remains to be seen, but either way, we’re expecting excellent television.
Joining her is actor Johnny Sibilly, who brings his own queer entertainment credentials into the castle. Meanwhile, Boman Martinez-Reid, Emira D’Spain, and Jag Bains add even more reality and social-media savvy to a cast that already looks primed for maximum drama.
And then there are the allies. Kristin Chenoweth is stepping into the castle, alongside familiar faces from The Real Housewives, Survivor, Big Brother, Love Island, The Challenge, The Bachelor, Southern Charm, and beyond.
Basically, nobody should be trusting anybody.

A Castle Full of Reality-TV Chaos
The 2027 lineup features 23 celebrity players, including Bronwyn Newport, Casey Wilson, Chloe Kim, Cody Simpson, Craig Conover, Cynthia Bailey, Dominic Monaghan, Gizelle Bryant, Iain Stirling, JaNa Craig, Joey Graziadei, Michele Fitzgerald, Q Burdette, Rachel Robinson, Rashad Jennings, Taylor Hale, and Whitney Leavitt.
That’s a lot of personalities packed into one castle, and The Traitors thrives on exactly that kind of social collision.
The premise remains deliciously simple: some contestants are secretly assigned as Traitors while the rest play as Faithfuls, all while competing in challenges and trying to figure out who is lying to their faces. The Faithfuls want to identify and banish the Traitors before they are eliminated themselves, while the Traitors have to manipulate the group without getting caught.
With this particular cast? Good luck, babes.
The Traitors Is Having a Moment
The timing couldn’t be better for the show’s return. The Traitors reportedly reached its highest ratings performance last season, with viewership surging 72% over the previous season.
Since its January 8 premiere, the competition series accumulated 8.1 billion minutes viewed and ranked as the No. 2 streaming original reality series of 2026 to date based on minutes viewed, according to Nielsen. That’s a lot of people watching famous people lie, accuse one another, form alliances, and occasionally make spectacularly questionable decisions.
Thankfully, the chaos isn’t going anywhere.
Three-time Emmy Award winner Alan Cumming is returning as host and executive producer, meaning the castle will once again have its perfectly suited master of ceremonies overseeing all the backstabbing.
And Peacock isn’t just giving us one more season. The streamer has renewed The Traitors for an additional three seasons.
So buckle up, gays. The castle is reopening, the Traitors have entered the chat, and absolutely nobody should be trusted.
