More Raging Wildfires Burn in California, Claiming Notable Celebrity Homes and Film Locations

This time of year is dreaded by many California residents because Fall winds pick up and pose a potential threat to wild fires that have been known to be catastrophic and take millions in property loss and lives along with them. Currently, there are fires that are raging in the Southland and one of the most recent victims is ex-Trump supporter Caitlyn Jenner.

TMZ reported that the celebrity’s Malibu hills home was destroyed by the Woolsey fire that have been claiming thousands of acres of land. Jenner’s home was featured in the reality show I Am Cait and was a haven for her before she began transitioning and during some difficult moments coming out to her family.

More than 75,000 homes have had to evacuate their homes including the Kardashians who all own homes in the nearby areas.

Another tragic loss to Hollywood is the Paramount Ranch where HBO's Westworld is currently filmed. The backdrop for the show features miles of Western topography that have now been claimed by the Woolsey fire.

Wildfires are unpredictable, especially with the current high winds. The story of the path of the fires is currently developing. Let's hope everyone in its path is stays safe.

Caitlyn Jenner On Trump: "I Was Wrong"

Caitlyn Jenner, arguably one of the most famous transgender people in the world, has penned an op-ed for The Washington Post saying her “outlook has changed significantly” regarding her support for Donald Trump and his administration.

“These past two years under President Trump have given me the opportunity to reflect on a lot of topics that have come up in the LGBTQ community and in our nation,” writes Jenner. “As I’ve watched and pondered, my outlook has changed significantly from what it was during my highly publicized and glamorized early Caitlyn days, when my life as an out trans woman was just beginning.”

Admitting she’s been on a learning curve since coming out as transgender, the 68-year-old reality celebrity shares she has “reflected on what my unique position of privilege means and how I can best use it to make a positive difference.”

Pointing to Trump’s declaration at the Republican National Convention in 2016 where he promised he would do everything in his power to “protect LGBTQ citizens from violence and oppression,” Jenner says she “saw fertile ground for change within the Republican Party on LGBTQ issues.”

With American views on LGBTQ citizens improving, even in the GOP voter base, Jenner felt “optimistic that this was how I could leverage my privilege for change.”

After “many trips to Washington” which produced what she described as “positive” and “encouraging” conversations, Jenner felt hopeful for “positive change.”

“Sadly, I was wrong,” admits the former Olympian. “The reality is that the trans community is being relentlessly attacked by this president. The leader of our nation has shown no regard for an already marginalized and struggling community.”

“He has ignored our humanity,” continued Jenner. “He has insulted our dignity. He has made trans people into political pawns as he whips up animus against us in an attempt to energize the most right-wing segment of his party, claiming his anti-transgender policies are meant to “protect the country.”

“This is politics at its worst. It is unacceptable, it is upsetting, and it has deeply, personally hurt me.”

Jenner now feels her belief that she could work with the Trump administration to improve transgender lives was “a mistake.”

She calls the recently leaked Department of Health and Human Services memo, that reveals a plan to redefine gender in a very narrow manner that could virtually erase 1.4 million trans people in the United States, “just one more example in a pattern of political attacks” on trans people.

“I do not support Trump,” she shares. “I must learn from my mistakes and move forward.”

“I need to listen more to the members of the LGBTQ community and to learn more. I need to better use my voice, my privilege and my foundation to advocate and support our community.”

Jenner concludes with the statement: “The world needs to hear us. The world needs to know us. We will not be erased.”

While it's laudable that Jenner can admit her "mistake," some in the Twitterverse felt the admission was a case of 'too little, too late.'

What do you think, readers? Is it 'forgive and forget' time regarding Jenner's Trump support?

Pennsylvania Gubernatorial Candidate In Hot Water After Transphobic Caitlyn Jenner Meme Is Shared With Reporter

Republican gubernatorial candidate Scott Wagner and his camp are in hot water after a political consultant handling Wagner’s campaign shared a lewd, transphobic meme via text.

As reported by Evening Sun, on Thursday morning Ray Zaborney sent the message to Wagner’s campaign manager Jason High; finance director Jenise Harris, policy director Shauna Boscaccy — and a reporter for Billy Penn, who was not an intended recipient.

Zaborney is a connected political media specialist who regularly provides information to journalists, both on-record and off-the-record. He had been in touch with the reporter from Billy Penn for unrelated reasons on Wednesday.

The meme of Jenner shared via group text mocks Nike’s recent headline-grabbing campaign that featured Colin Kaepernick. The black and white image features Nike’s trademark swoosh and “Just Do It” logo beneath a portrait of Jenner. Written across are the words, “Believe in something, even if it means cutting your d*ck off.”

Zaborney backtracked, attempting to bribe the reporter who intercepted the meme with “on background” information about something in hopes he would "forget" the meme. Too late. Billy Penn informed Zaborney that the meme would make the news.

So Zaborney tried to apologize in a press release, saying:

“Anyone questioning my commitment to diversity or the LGBT community obviously doesn’t know me very well. I am a passionate believer in equality for all and have long been an advocate for marriage equality and ending discrimination in all forms against the LGBTQ community. I’m proud of my advocacy and proud of my efforts and will continue to stand for equality.”

It should be noted, none of the recipients of the transphobic message responded on the group chat. They also didn’t respond to Evening Sun’s requests for response.

Wagner is already on rocky terrain with the HRC and other LGBTQ+ rights activists, following a remark he made about transgender bathroom choice and “bathroom bills” on the campaign trail last month.

“It’s real simple,” Wagner said at an August campaign event in Zelienople, Pa. “If you’re born with male plumbing, you use the men’s room. If you’re born with female plumbing, you use the ladies’ room. Period.”

His camp followed up by saying Wagner supports bathroom choice, so long as the individual in question has changed their gender on their ID card.

In the past, Wagner has expressed support for The Pennsylvania Fairness Act, which would provide much-needed civil rights protections to LGBTQ+ residents of the state. This has been a source of contention with conservative voters, as well as rival GOP gubernatorial candidates.

Jenner is an outspoken Republican, and supported Donald Trump during his 2016 presidential campaign.

Caitlyn Jenner Wants To Be A Marvel Villain!

Caitlyn Jenner Wants To Be A Marvel Villain!

Is This Shade To Scarlett Johannson?

#LOL! So, Variety decided to do a roundup on Transgender Actors because of the uproar their community unleashed after Avengers Hot-Shot, Scarlett Johannson, was cast as a Transgender character in the now-dropped-filmRub & Tug. I've made accusations that Hollywood will be absolutely terrified to touch the subject of Transgender stories now: Because the Transgender community only wants Transgender people to play themselves: Apparently even without any substantial acting credits. Because now, Actors can no longer...act? I’m so confused by the whole fiasco and the effort to protest from the community. Moving on:

According to Variety, arguably the most well-known (not popular) Transgender person ever to exist, Caitlyn Jenner, wants to ACT... because it will allegedly be so easy for people to think of her as not Caitlyn Jenner. Wait, why are we continuing to give Jenner a platform? But, funny enough, she doesn’t even want to be in a B-Movie or on a streaming service like many others in her community. She's a Jenner-Kardashian, henney, she wants to be the *STAR* in DISNEY films, more specifically the Marvel franchise. Jenner tells:

"In a Marvel movie, I want to play the baddest-ass lady you’ve ever seen in your life. They got the wicked queen or the wicked lady. Just do the makeup and the outfit. And I got the deep voice.  I want to play that bad-ass bitch. I can play that girl."

It will be an absolute cold day in hell before any of the cast of characters at this Variety roundup - and Jenner - touch a Marvel/Disney film - but if they do, they BETTER be playing a Transgender character only: Because that is exactly what they have been preaching and they better stick to their word.

Kathy Griffin Appropriately Roasts The F**k Out of Caitlyn Jenner

Kathy Griffin, who is never at a loss for words regarding her thoughts on the world today, gave zero f***s when it came to roasting the living hell out of flip-flopper Caitlyn Jenner over her latest views on Donald Trump's administration.

Jenner, who famously endorsed Trump years ago much to the frustration and disappointment of the LGBTQ community, has taken yet another couple of steps back from what she originally said about him.

She first thought that Trump would be an outspoken advocate of trans rights, which has turned out to be far from the truth two years into his candidacy.  Now, she has done a 180 and spoke about her feelings on him and his administration currently at the Champions of Jewish Values International Awards Gala this past Thursday.

“As far as trans issues, this administration has been the worst ever,” she told Newsweek at the event.  “They’ve set our community back 20 years, easily.”

Kathy, who has been a tenacious and incredible supporter of the LGBTQ community through and through for decades now, saw through Caitlyn's BS regarding her change of heart and called her out on social media in the most appropriate of ways.

Sick of her bullshit.
