Tags: apple, steve jobs, lady gaga, twitter, censorship, ping A few days ago, in between premiering new iPods and the revamped Apple TV, Steve Jobs announced the stateside arrival of the massive popular music-social-network Ping. Along with his presentation included Lady Gaga's Twitter feed (Tweets from music artists will be fed into Ping), but something was missing in his Gaga exploitation: gay-related Tweets.
First is an image of Gaga's censored Twitter feed used in Steve Jobs's announcement of Ping:
And the uncensored Lady Gaga Twitter feed:
Is Apple censoring the gay again?

Said McCain, who later rated the president's mid-office performance as a C+, "We get the bad rap, as Republicans, as being against gay marriage. But [Obama] isn't doing anything for the gay community."

While we don't quite think of them as an opening act, Scissor Sisters will do just that for Lady Gaga's Monster Ball Tour come February 2011, according to Ticketmaster.com. Scissor Sisters are scheduled for nine dates of the insanely-popular tour and will surely draw in plenty of gays like us who have already caught The Monster Ball twice once!

Updated Thursday, Noon PST:
Presiding Justice Arthur Scotland has rejected the petition without comment, according to the California Appeals Court website!
A lawsuit has been filed in Sacramento in an effort to force California Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger and Attorney General Jerry Brown to defend Prop. 8 in court, despite the fact that both have said they would not.
A press release from the Pacific Justice Institute reads:
“The new lawsuit is being filed by the Pacific Justice Institute on behalf of Dr. Joshua Beckley, a minister in the Los Angeles area. The lawsuit is called an extraordinary writ of mandate and was filed with the Third District Court of Appeal in Sacramento. The writ asks the court to enforce Government Code... FULL STORY

Apologies for falling into verse in the headline, but on Wednesday night's The Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson, Rachael Ray provided the short list of women she would go gay for. Topping (or bottoming, we don't assume anyone's position right off the bat) the list is the uh-may-zing Tina Fey!

Jane Lynch, still riding high off her monumental Emmy win and epic acceptance speech, has revealed that she's not Britney's biggest fan, especially after Miss Spears visited the Glee set last month.
According to gossip blog L.A. Rag Mag, Jane said “Britney was not fun on the set – didn’t really interact with the cast - she blew, a big missed opportunity for her.”
And take her next "quote" with huge grains of salt rimming your lunchtime margarita, darlings, but Jane told reporters at her wax figure unveiling that Britney's cameo (which Lea Michelle plugged earlier this week) was cut from the episode.
“Britney’s not in it,” Jane Lynch told reporters today at her wax figure unveiling at Madame Tussaud’s in Hollywood. “It’s... FULL STORY

In a televised debate Wednesday night, California Senate hopeful Carly Fiorina re-affirmed her opposition to equality, saying she believed marriage rights should be limited to one man and one woman. Her incumbent opponent Barbara Boxer, believes in full marriage equality for all Californians. Fiorina, the former HP CEO, did manage to insert support civil unio for civil unions into the debate, however.
“Actually, the position I've consistently espoused is consistent with that of our president and a vast majority of senators in the U.S. Senate,” Fiorina said.
The republican went on to deem it “inappropriate” for Judge Vaughn Walker to overrule California voters in his Prop 8 decision.
Thankfully, Sen. Barbara Boxer used the opportunity... FULL STORY

Tags: v magazine, lady gaga, marc jacobs, new york, mario testino For its 'New York Issue', V-Magazine tapped The Statue of Lady Gaga and Mr. New York himself, Marc Jacobs, to don its cover.
Editor Stephen Gan had this to say about the new issue, which was shot by famed photog Mario Testino:
"Just as the Statue of Liberty was France's gift to America, Gaga is, to us, New York's greatest gift to pop culture and fashion. She embodies everything V is about, and is also a beacon of the city's creativity and hope. Exactly one year after her first V cover (the first fashion magazine cover she was on), we decided to do The New York issue, and she was the first person who came to mind to represent our great city. In the year that's passed, she has become a bonafide genius and we can safely declare her our... FULL STORY

Is this Calvin Klein’s new 20-year-old boyfriend? Various outlets seem to think so, but we’re not going to worry about the details. We’ll just enjoy some of his modeling portfolio that Gawker has tracked down...
40+ year age difference or not, what we find more concerning is that he’s not wearing a single piece of Calvin Klein underwear! Just Calvin arm candy, apparently:
